Aegis is product by The Advisory Unit to help geography teachers make use of GIS tools in schools.
It has a number of great features that help to create interactive worksheets, with plenty of example resources already built in, many of which can be adapted to local need.
Getting hold of the original map and data files can be cumbersome but moves are underway to make this easier in Shropshire via the Digitalbrain portal.
